Celebrating the design excellence in 2017

The DFA Awards presentation ceremonies culminated with the Business of Design Week (BODW) Gala Dinner on 8 December, where Yohji YAMAMOTO received the DFA Lifetime Achievement Award, Adrian ZECHA received the DFA Design Leadership Award and Alan CHAN received the award for DFA World's Outstanding Chinese Designer. Over 200 design talents were also awarded with the DFA Design for Asia Awards and the DFA Hong Kong Young Design Talent Award at the presentation ceremony on 6 December. This year’s ceremonies saw the region’s greatest design talents awarded with applause.

DFA Awards Exhibition at the HKDC Pavilion in DesignInspire showcased the winning projects, products and portfolios at the 3-day international exhibition about creativity to stage an exchange and inspiring platform for global creative elites, design brands, design associations and institutes to display their creativities.

While we are savouring the success of 2017 DFA programme, the mission of recognising the rising force of emerging designers in the region continues. Submission for DFA Design for Asia Awards and DFA Hong Kong Young Design Talent Award will open in April 2018.
