Social capital is essential for the economic prosperity and sustainable development of a society. It helps build a caring society of mutual trust and solidarity, and enhances mutual support among individuals, families and organisations so that our community can grow from strength to strength.
To accord recognition to individuals, corporates/ organisations which have contributed to the development of social capital in Hong Kong, the Community Investment and Inclusion Fund (CIIF) of the Labour and Welfare Bureau organises the Social Capital Builder (SCB) Awards.
