Supporting Event - HKLA 2020 Is Now Open for Application

The Hong Kong Licensing Awards (HKLA) 2020 is organised by the Asian Licensing Association (ALA) under the sponsorship from Create Hong Kong (CreateHK) of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), is now open for application!


Five Award Categories:

1. Best Hong Kong Property Award

2. Best Licensee Award

3. Best Promotion Campaign Award

4. Best Hong Kong Young Property Award

5. Best Hong Kong New Character Design for Licensing Award


Activity information

The Gold, Silver, Bronze and Merit Award winners will be entitled to publicize / showcase their works for free at the “Hong Kong International Licensing Show 2021” ; The Gold, Silver, Bronze and Merit Award winners of Best Hong Kong Property Awards, Best Hong Kong Young Property Awards and Best Hong Kong New Character Design for Licensing Awards will also be entitled to publicize / showcase their works for free at the “HKTDC Design Gallery”.


Free production of product samples and figurines; free promotion at the booth inside “Hong Kong International Licensing Show 2021” for the top five finalists of the Best Hong Kong New Character Design for Licensing Award.


The Gold Winner of Best Hong Kong New Character Design for Licensing Award will also be entitled to produce his/her winning character in mascot with full cost covered by the Hong Kong Licensing Awards and to take part in mascot parade to promote his/her winning character during the “Hong Kong International Licensing Show 2021”.
