Presented by Hong Kong Design Centre (HKDC)’s dX Design Exchange (dX) programme and sponsored by Create Hong Kong (CreateHK) of the Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), The ((Capsule)) Hong Kong showcases the inspiring development of contemporary circular design and sustainability projects in Hong Kong to the international audiences at Dutch Design Week, which will be held at Eindhoven, The Netherlands from 21 to 29 October 2023. Moreover, a post-trip event will be held in Hong Kong on 27 November 2023. Stay tuned for the details.

Design Exchange between Hong Kong and the Netherlands
Some of the Hong Kong designers will also be presence in Dutch Design Week to interact and exchange ideas with the visitors. The ((Capsule)) Hong Kong is an excellent exchange opportunity between Hong Kong and Dutch designers, showcasing to the world the creativity and diversity of Hong Kong Design.

14 Best Design Practices of HK in Dutch Design Week
The ((Capsule)) showcases the actions of Hong Kong, China in circular design that reflects its unique cityscape, cultural and socio-economic developments such as double aging, the urge for inclusivity, and more.

Making its debut in 2018 with funding from Create Hong Kong, the dX Design Exchange (dX) programme reinforces HKDC’s mission of cultivating young local design talent, and prompting them to broaden their perspective and international networks through inspirational trips. The year marks the 5th edition of dX; previous exchange tours include Bangkok, Melbourne, Tokyo and California.
