Hong Kong Design Centre (HKDC) was founded in 2001 as a strategic partner of the HKSAR Government in establishing Hong Kong as centre of design excellence in Asia. The Roles:

  1. Develop and implement a design-entrepreneurship programme for nurturing design-preneurs
  2. Proactively identify and facilitate potential start-up companies in design and creative fields
  3. Engage in sales, marketing and promotional activities of the programme;
  4. Work closely and liaise with internal and external parties including government departments, industrial organisations, academic institutes, professional bodies, potential business parties and stakeholders
  5. Perform ad hoc assignments as required.


  1. University degree with at least 8 years relevant experience in general management, marketing, event or project management in which at least 3 years at supervisory level
  2. Practical experience gained in NGO/NPO, tertiary education institutes, professional bodies or public sectors is desirable
  3. Substantial experience in entrepreneurship nurturance is an absolute advantage
  4. Have a good sense of strategic thinking, risk management and cost planning
  5. Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  6. Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
