About Hong Kong Design Centre
Hong Kong Design Centre (HKDC) was founded in 2001 as a strategic partner of the HKSAR Government in establishing Hong Kong as centre of design excellence in Asia. We are on a public mission to promote wider and strategic use of design and design thinking to foster innovation, create business value and improve societal well-being.

- Develop and implement a design-entrepreneurship programme for nurturing design-preneurs
Proactively identify and facilitate potential start-up companies in design and creative fields
- Engage in sales, marketing and promotional activities of the programme;
Work closely and liaise with internal and external parties including government departments, industrial organisations, academic institutes, professional bodies, potential business parties and stakeholders
- Perform ad hoc assignments as required.
University degree with at least 8 years relevant experience in general management, marketing, event or project management in which at least 3 years at supervisory level
Practical experience gained in NGO/NPO, tertiary education institutes, professional bodies or public sectors is desirable
Substantial experience in entrepreneurship nurturance is an absolute advantage
- Have a good sense of strategic thinking, risk management and cost planning
Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
