Job Duties:

  1. Working closely with the Programme Director and the Event and Marketing team for HKDC’s flagship programmes: Business of Design Week (BODW), Knowledge of Design Week (KODW) and bodw+ (the new development of digital design knowledge platform);
  2. Project management in design projects and related programmes; Multi-media design experience in graphic, typography, branding, motion graphic, digital ads, website and video, etc.;
  3. Develop creative concept and graphic design layout for both digital marketing and print work and video production;
  4. Support the operation and dvelopment of digitial platform (bodw+); and
  5. Perform ad hoc assignments as required.


Requirements:

  1. A recognised University Degree;
  2. At least 8 years of relevant experience in which minimum 3 years at supervisory level with solid leading and management experience in multi-media design team / creative team;
  3. Good verbal and written communication skills in both English & Chinese;
  4. Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Powerpoint;
  5. Strong in creative concept, design development and presentation skills;
  6. Experience in website development and CMS management is value added;
  7. A team player with good communications and interpersonal skills, problem-solving, and negotiation skills;
  8. A professional with accountability to meet statutory, industry code of conduct and internal reporting and compliance requirements; and
  9. Design portfolio included in your CV is required.
