Hong Kong Design Centre (HKDC) was founded in 2001 as a strategic partner of the HKSAR Government in establishing Hong Kong as centre of design excellence in Asia. We are on a public mission to promote wider and strategic use of design and design thinking to foster innovation, create business value and improve societal well-being.

 The Roles:

  • 1. Work with Senior Manager in the planning and development of Hong Kong Design Centre’s flagship programmes: Business of Design Week (BODW) and Knowledge of Design Week (KODW). Responsibilities include:
    • - Research on design, branding, and innovation trends;
    • - Maintain effective communication with esteemed speakers, both locally and globally, to align themes and topics for content development;
    • - Coordinate logistical arrangements for speakers;
    • - Provide administrative support;
  • 2. Contribute to the content development of bodw+, the digital design knowledge platform under BODW and KODW by:
    • - Assist in formulating content strategies;
    • - Oversee high-quality content production;
    • - Collaborate with partners for seamless content delivery;
  • 3. Attend industry events to expand professional networks; &
  • 4. Execute ad hoc duties with flexibility in a dynamic work environment.

Requirements:

  1. University graduate;
  2. 2 years of work experience. Relevant work experience in project management and coordination, experiences in marketing and content agencies will be an advantage. Candidates with less than two years experiences will be considered as Project Associate;
  3. Fluency in written and spoken English & Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) are essential;
  4. Proficiency in MS Office Applications including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, English & Chinese Word Processing;
  5. Detail-oriented, responsible and organized;
  6. Strong problem-solving skills and multi-tasking;
  7. Self-motivated and ability to work under pressure; &
  8. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
