The Roles:

  1. Work closely with the Project Director and Senior Project Manager to develop and execute public relations strategies, manage the marketing and PR plan for the "In The City" – a Design x Retail focused programme revitalised from BODW City Programme (CityProg), and oversee other special initiatives and projects within the Business Development and Projects team;
  2. Coordinate and communicate effectively within and across teams to ensure integrated marketing, partnerships, and public relations efforts for expanded reach and impact;
  3. Generate compelling and persuasive content for various channels, including social media, websites, newsletters, and press materials;
  4. Manage social media platforms, including scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and monitoring analytics. Additionally, create marketing collateral as needed;
  5. Establish productive relations with existing and potential partners across different businesses sectors, brands, publishers, media, PR, creative & design communities, professional & industrial bodies, education and cultural institutions, local community & trusts and foundations to facilitate the implementation of the project;
  6. Provide support in curatorial tasks, including project management and program coordination; and
  7. Undertake ad hoc assignments as required.

 Requirements:

  1. University graduate with minimum 6 years work experience in creative industries, marketing, event management, advertising agencies, media or publications;
  2. Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Mandarin);
  3. Business acumen with strong organising, coordinating and problem-solving skills;
  4. An effective communicator with strong interpersonal and networking skills;
  5. Self-initiative, proactive, dynamic and ability to meet tight deadlines;
  6. Flexible multi-taskers with strong organizational and time management skills; and
  7. A good cultural fit, a passion for design and the industry.
