Assistant Manager - Facility Management

The Roles:

  1. Perform facility management tasks of the new site in Sham Shui Po including office and exhibition and event venues;
  2. Liaise with various stakeholders, including URA, architects, contractors, vendors, and government agencies, to ensure smooth operation;
  3. Prepare detailed technical specifications and working drawings for tendering purposes;
  4. Carry out routine and preventive maintenance and closely monitor their work progress;
  5. Work with the exhibition and event contractor in using the stage, sound and light facility;
  6. Work with the facility management company to monitor the cleaning and security of the facilities;
  7. Prepare facility management reports and annual maintenance budget;
  8. Assist in updating the operations manual in response to changes in the venue's internal guidelines as well as regulatory requirements;
  9. Assist in preparing feasibility studies;
  10. Perform ad hoc projects as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  1. University degree or above in Facilities Management, Building Services Engineering, relevant Engineering disciplines or equivalent;
  2. Corporate membership of HKIFM, CFM, MIH, RICS or equivalent is an added advantage;
  3. Minimum 6 years relevant post-qualification work experience preferably in operations and customer/tenancy service of sizable infrastructures;
  4. Experience in facilities management with knowledge of government procedures and requirements on licensing and maintenance certifications;
  5. Experience in taking over newly completed buildings or/and exhibition/performance venue management will be an advantage;
  6. Knowledge of best practices in facility management and its related Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators;
  7. Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
  8. Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service-oriented mindset in dealing with different levels of internal and external parties;
  9. Excellent communication, planning, management and customer service skills; self-motivated, confident, creative and strong desire to achieve excellence;
  10. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities;
  11. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
