Ida & Billy Architects is an architectural design studio offering design services of diversified disciplines. The two founders, Ida Sze and Billy Chan, are Hong Kong registered architects, with years of experience practicing in Hong Kong and Beijing. In recent years they have been working in Switzerland for the Pritzker prize winner ‘Herzog & de Meuron Architekten’. Deeply inspired by the European design culture, their design principle has a strong affiliation to innovation and rational thinking in architecture. The duo have been collaborating since 2001 on architectural design and won several International architectural competitions, including First prize of ‘World Expo 2010 Hong Kong Pavilion Concept design competition’, First place of ‘Tokyo Membrane Design competition’, and honored ’ 2010 Perspective Top 40 under 40 prominent asian designer“ . The studio is dedicated to professional architectural design services, aim to tailor-make a unique solution for each project based on its potential and requirements. It implements a research-based design methodology and a teamwork model; engage in close relation to the client and consulting team.
