Supporting Event - Break the Cocoon, Sparkling Hong Kong 2018! – Designers Inspiration Trip
23 Awardees of HKSDA 2017 were nominated as delegates to join the 8-day Inspiration Trip. They demonstrated local creative product designs to overseas buyers and explore business opportunities by showcasing awarded products at Ambiente. The delegation also reached Lausanne, Switzerland for cultural and commercial exchange, including visits to local design institutes and museums. This delegation visit aimed at refreshing designers' vision with latest global market trends not only to enhance their competitiveness in the evolving market, but also raise the publicity of local designs in global platform.
