Activity information

The public will be spoilt for choice to liven up their wardrobe from September 7 to 19 when the Hong Kong Design Centre (HKDC) organises “Fashion PMQ”, featuring 40 local fashion and accessories designers in Fashion Mart and Fashion Crossover Pop-ups. This will be the first of the kind of B2C fashion events held at the Qube in PMQ to complement CENTRESTAGE. This will be also one of the highlights of ‘Hong Kong in Fashion’ events featured by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council to support local fashion design and development of the industry.


Fashion Mart

The three-day admission-free Fashion Mart, from September 9 to 11, is the highlight of this cross-disciplinary fashion event. The Qube will be transformed into a fashionable bazaar featuring an array of wardrobe choices such as trendy clothes, accessories, leather goods, watches, tie, and sportswear.

While fashion lovers go on a shopping spree at Fashion Mart, they can also enjoy music performances, lifestyle and photo exhibitions. Celebrity instructors are invited to be workshop leaders for shoppers to create customised accessories, whilst make-up and styling gurus to share with the participants some hot tips.


Fashion Crossover Pop-ups

From September 7 to 19, a number of studios in PMQ will be converted into Fashion Crossover Pop-ups, where designers from different disciplines join hands to curate a limited-time showcase of their designs and collaborations. 



FashMobile

To promote the concept of ‘Fashion 4 Everyone’ and ‘Fashion@Everywhere’,and to bring local fashion into the general public, Hong Kong Design Centre will dispatch a special fashion showcase truck, aptly named FashMobile, to tour around the city and station in busy districts, including Central, Tsim Sha Tsui, Causeway Bay, and Mong Kok, for 3 consecutive days from 1 September. People of different age, background, and interest can appreciate fashion downtown and show their support for local brands.
